Three questions:
- For this past HSC question, "Outline the impact of ONE social factor on the health of young people (3 marks)" (2001 HSC), is this referring to the determinants of sociocultural or socioeconomic factors? and when It says 'ONE', does that mean just focus on one factor within, say sociocultural, e.g. religion, or talk about all the factors within sociocultural?
- For this past HSC question, "Explain the factors which may adversely affect the health of young people and the strategies implemented to overcome them (12 marks)" (2019 HSC), does this require me to talk about every single determinant, because there are a lot! Or just one from each factor perhaps?
- Also for the same question as above, the 2019 one, my teacher always says that for that question, you need two paragraphs for each 'factor', e.g. geographical location, i.e. one paragraph on how it adversely affects health and one for a strategy, but she says that the strategy paragraph should be longer than the first because it requires more thinking and is therefore marked the most. She says that in the first para just write a definition and explanation, and in the second write a strategy, example, and link to health. is this what everyone else has been taught too?
