I have the trial next Tuesday.
I got 55% in my last essay.
I really don't understand ANY of the course, or even what I have to know.
How can I study it???
What exactly do I need to know?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!!

There are three sections in the economic exam..

Multiple choice should involve almost anything, but if your doing the CSSA trials, then your in luck, go do the past 4 years of the HSC and CSSA trials and you'll be able to ace the mulitple choice.

Short answer would come mostly out of "Economic Issues" with regards to:
- economic growth
- unemployment
- inflation
- external stability
- distribution of income and wealth
- environmental management

Extented response should be related to 5 topics... or more I mean, just do five practice essays regarding:
- micro polices
- maco polices
- exchange rate
- globalisation
- something else..

as our teacher have said, dat the CSSA 2005 trial will have two of the above essays in the extented response section, so yeah.. just keep doing past papers.. and you'll be alrite.

Yes what sk8ie said is a great start.

Also, you should go through the syllabus.
It details EXACTLY what you need to know. you need not know anything beyond the syllabus.

Its nicely set out in dot point form, i suggest you make notes on each point.

(Its probally too late to do this for the trials; but read the sylabus anyway as thats the stuff that could be in the exam)

You've left it very late for yourself! You have at least 5 essays to prepare, and an entire course to work out in only 4 days......It would be a good idea to begin study for the final HSC exams sometime this term, dont leave it too late

Good luck with the trials :)
