ok, i dont know if you guys read my blog or not, but i missed all of term 2.

this meant i missed out on lear

in my trials, i was exempted from doing module B because im awesome.

i cant get an exemption in the externals, so im pretty fucked.

i read that we must write about different productions. FUCK. ive got a dvd copy of the 60s movie, so that might be ok, but where do i get my second production?

also, are we meant to write about 'readings'?

as far as i know, its just "the opening scene shows a disfunctional family" and "the storm is a metaphor for lears mind". do we just write about these themes or do we write about more complex 'isms' (ie existentialism).

also, how do we incorporate the other productions into it?

[ive seen a couple of essays...but id still like some general help]

thank you

Try the King Lear FAQ thread, it gave me a good idea of the basics of this module.

After that, try Resources, and ask your teachers/schoolmates i guess.

Just say you have a traditionalist interpretation. it works for eveything. Why? Because it's traditional. It's my way of weasling out of thinking up my own ideas.

isn't that taking the play like as it is?... if so... do that.
