Ok, just found out I got into UNE thru the recommendation scheme, and I got into either B Arts or B Languages ... I'm leaning towards Arts, but have no idea about what you do within the bachelor of arts .... Like what subjects and how many do I have to pick? Majors? When do I pick my subjects? what issss all this stuff? I kinda know but ... would like some confirmation from people who are in the midst of it all.

A BA is pretty much a degree where you can choose a whole heap of different groups that may have nothing to do with each other.

As a first year you usually enrol in subjects next year during O-week with all the other new people who have no idea.

Finally each uni has different BA offerings so
READ THEIR WEBSITE

Get a piece of paper and a pen, download the BA planner and Arts faculty handbook, note down what majors you want, then write down the unit numbers and look them up. You could also buy the handbook if you really wanted to. Then once they are all written down add up the credit points and see if they add up to 144 and that is your degree right there. Of course it will most likely change before you finish or get there anyway. Read as much as you can regarding the rules and regulations because it will be up to you to find things out. Also acquaint yourself with the search function on the UNE website.

You are better off getting confirmation from official literature and sources than anonymous people on a forum when it is regarding your future.

Edit: Make it look a bit more presentable
