i started with the idea that i would do three oil paintings, one a postmodern of a monet, an impressionist landscape of my own and 1 which merges the two together. after i finished the monet, i changed my mind.
i am now doing 3 images of a huge waratah, still in impressionist style, one from the morning noon and night. i also decided to give up on oil paints, their drying time shits me. im about half way through the second one, using oil pastels and oil sticks.
much quicker to dry, let me tell you. . . .
