regarding clothing. i have been confined to op shops for the last 6 months or so because i have been working my way through uni and paying rent etc.
i finally got clearance for youth allowance, and got my first payment. i also got paid from work yesterday for the last two weeks, paid my rent, shopped for food, bought phone credit and paid bills, so i am now officially cashed up.
i really actually do need some new clothes, all my shoes are committing suicide and i am presently wearing 4 tops, a scarf and a jumper to shield me from the melbourne cold.
i have to buy a warm jumper, a coat, long pants and a pair of good sturdy shoes, but i can't seem to bring myself to spend all that money...
i mean, i have the money, but i cant give it to the shop assistant in exchange for nice clothes...
i used to buy $200 jeans and $300 dresses without batting an eyelid.
what is wrong with me?!? i think cheapskate-ism has leaked into my blood for good, and i'm in the shopping capital of australia for god's sake.
