I normally never give up, but seeing as i've been so focused on my other subjects with the first week being so full, I just see 3u as being too strenuous.
So cliffs, I am a capable student, but not a GREAT 3u student. I know nearly all formulas and theorems. I just lack exam practice and i think it's just too late for that....so i give up :)

Any one else in this position?

Lol. i didn't really "give up" but just cbfed for another test, already feel like I finished my hsc. Probably forget about my physics exam..

the only formula for 3u is basically newton's method.

edit:
you have a few hours. I would just do a past paper now since you lack practice. better than memorising formulas.

also, if its an extra 1 unit- who cares

Dude remember ALL formulas, know each variable in each formula, and keep reciting. That's probably the best you can do. Also read and understand examples, this should at least boost your confidence.

NO! You have 4 hours - don't let a whole 2 years go to waste like this, especially when you still have a chance.

Finish strong, you're right there in front of the finish line!

- sine double angle
- cosine double angle
- tan double angle
- AP, GP
- line division into ratio
- all the circ geom rules
- SHM in x given t form
- SHM in a given x form
- binomial expansion
- binomial probability expression
- sum, product of roots
- permutations
- permutations around a circle
- permutations removing duplicates

to name a few others

I need like an e4 for this subject to count towards my ATAR measurement
And my assessment mark (coming from a ~350 ranked school) is low e3...

+1

I'd advise you to look at the final two questions for each past paper from 01-011.

e4 is, from what i've heard, 55/70?

Even if you give it your all, I swear you'll probs hit high e3. The thing I can guarantee you is you won't do as shit as compared to giving up, which is obvious. Seriously, there is so much time left. 4 hours of hardcore study will suffice.

But i'll give it my all, i just get so disheartened when i attempt a hsc question (which is so whacked!) and i fail so miserably...
