ive got an assessment and have to do a time line for the ideas to implementation chapter. one the dot points are to comment on possible future directions of research in physics and the impact of these technologies on society. and i cant find any information on it. plz help

Create a timeline, shouldn't be too hard.
Possible future directions - focus on superconductors and transistors (reduced power loss, small devices, faster computers etc...).
