yeah. i am actually aswel, a bit. although if you understand the main concepts and do a lot and i mean a lot of the questions and keep practising you should be fine. i dont think you should pay for a pro tutor which would turn out to be way too expensive, although you should get tutored if you're really struggling. general mathematics is pretty simple once you understand it. maybe study with friends. ask teachers for help during inbetween classes but first try learning for 1-2 hours of it on you're own then ask the teacher.

i hope this helps.

goodluck

$50 an hour? how well do you know the other guy? is he a friend? family friend?

nevermind. just becareful the other guy didn't decide to make it free because he has it in for you, im not actually saying he does but becareful. if he is trustworthy and you think he is able to tutor you then its free so its a good choice. try it out for a couple of times if it helps keep it going if not go for the $50 tutor.

On a serious note, like other people have suggested, try your friend out first, he might be quite good and he seems less expensive. If it doesn't work out then go pro. ;)

Btw what level of English do you do? :)

guys get off her back, she just wants a tutor!

Usually, the more expensive the better; you get what you pay for. I think this is the case with the two tutors you are looking at... I assume it's for english.

For the love of god, take the $50/hr one.
