Whats the procedure you follow if you are absent for a HSC exam?

The school will call your family to pay their regards because you're either dead or close to it. :p

Just joking, but you have to pretty much dying to not go to an exam. Even if you are very ill, you should go to the exam, notify your year coordinator beforehand about what's going on, do your best in the exam and basically go right from the exam to the doctors- this is VERY important, because you can't lodge a misadventure if you don't have documentation.

If you do miss an exam you have to go through the illness/misadventure procedures and by that token not all applications and appeals are accepted. So it is best to turn up to an exam if sick and tell the supervisors who can give you an appeal form if they feel your claim is within reason and that you didn't\couldn't proform to the best of your abilities.
