You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to PrincessSJ again.

Dip Ed.

Yep, although you would probably be looking at a GradDipEd, which would compress all the units, rather than spreading them out.

And about 20 times more expensive.
According to my HECS statements
Grad Dip - $480 per subject
Masters - $1000 per subject
8 subjects in both, both on HECS/PELS and I deducted both from tax
GDip - $3840
Masters - $8000

Not quite 20 times and it is a nicer piece of paper :p

What's this a Masters in? Teaching? What is it, MTeaching, or MEducation?

Is the masters the equivalent to a DipEd, as in no school will hire you unless you have one (or a BTeaching)?

Masters in education, online education, distance education, education technology, flexible learning, take your pick. Well a school has many reasons to hire or not hire you, the masters will count like a DipEd will according to the award.

Since education is a priority area the masters has units for $480 as well.

edit: You might double check before jumping in though. It all varies.
