Hi everyone,
Im new around here, so i dont know if this is right or not with what i am goinbg to type.

I just have a simple question to start with for my first post on here because i dont know if we are allowed to post anything school related/Yr 11 related or what???

Is Yr 11 about yourself or your friends aswell? cos i dont know if i should hang with my friends and not do work during lunchtimes and frees or if i should leave all of my homework to when i get home to do or i should just blow it off to hang and talk with my friends?

I dont know what to please help me go in the right direction.

Is the year 11 course just meant to be all study or not?
How many hours of study should i do?
Does keeping up with your schoolwork/homework clarify you as a nerd?

i dont know if this is what we were meant to post but they are stuff and questions that i have been wondering about but have been too scared to ask anyone because of the way people treat me at school.

thanks

You can post whatever you want in the relevant forums and threads as long as it is on topic. This forum is for preliminary which I am assuming you are as your profile currently says you are an 06er, so if you are a 08er you have posted in the right section.

Preliminary and school are exactly what you make them to be. It's up to you if you want to spend your frees chating away or doing work, whatever works for you as long as you complete the assessments it doesn't really matter.

I dont know what to please help me go in the right direction.

No. Neither is the HSC. Senior schooling is your first steps towards studying as a young adult and about to enter the 'real world'. Life would be boring if it was all study as you as you complete assessments to your desire then all is well. It's about the balance not to much study but not to little study and with keeping up other activities you enjoy.

It depends on the individual there is really no way of determine how many each student should do as everyone is different.

Nope, certainly not. It classes you as a student who knows where they want to be and exactly what they want to get out of school

Your pretty safe to ask whatever preliminary related questions or any other for that matter, we don't bite......much.

Welcome to BOS.
