Implementation of new syllabus (1 Viewer)

The new General Mathematics 1 and 2 courses are to be implemented next year and General Mathematics 2 will be first examined in 2014. General Mathematics 1 will be non-examinable.

Current General Mathematics Year 11 students will still be examined next year and current Year 12 students this year on the current syllabus:

Oh so essentially, General Mathematics 1 is Prelim component of General?

No. The current General Mathematics course will be abolished. General 1 and 2 are two different new courses. As the Board of Studies website says, the final syllabuses should be on their website soon.
