Im having trouble as a whole in constructing a well structured essays throughout my subjects I was just wondering if any one can recommended any essay skill guides or books out there that will help me improve me on my essays

Honestly, all teh books are shit

To write a good integrated essay
pick a theme/issue/argument and then just attatch you texts on to that argument, so they just support your thesis
Don't write text-what it says, text-what it says

practice practice practice, get your techer to mark them and give you advice, thats what their there for, and if your teacher is busy get another english teacher to help you. ummm... also check out the structure of some high range responses, you should be able to get some from this site or from your teachers, standards packages are also good

As SmileyCam said, just practice. I was in the same boat: poor structure, tangled arguments, etc.. I spent about three weeks writing about five essays (this was all for AOC Inner Journeys btw), and moved from getting 9-10/15 to 14-15/15.

I can now proudly say I write the most kickass AOS essay in our class. If only my module/genre essays were up to that standard. I haven't been practicing. :(
