My physics teacher I am sad to say isn't teaching me or my class anything. I really haven't learnt anything yet in year 11, and I've been a year 11 student for quite a few weeks now. I would really appreciate it if someone could link me to the year 11 physics preliminary syllabus, and if anyone could help refer me to some good study books that I can use to self-teach. I really need this as I do not want to fail the course.

If anyone's wondering, this is what my physics teacher has done so far-
*Show us videos of car crashes
*Play a game that has minor physics involved
*Bring in some toy cars and ask us to create a 4-5 minute video depicting a car crash and safety involved

I really need help. Cheers.

Get a tutor to go through the syllabus with you, answering every dot points. In terms of textbook, I would recommend 'Physics in Focus' by Robert Farr, and Excel Physics for exam study.

Ask the teacher to focus more on the work.
Download a copy of the syllabus from the BOS.
Summarise the info into dot-points from the textbook (I assume you have one)
Get a tutor if you are completely stuck
