Are you allowed to draw graphs? Might seem like a stupid question but i havent really thought about it since today...

If there was a Short Answer question that you were given say... 9 lines to write... could you use four of those lines to include a diagram which helps explain your response?

Thanks :D

Eh, you need almost all the room they give you to write, you would probably be wanting to write about 10-15 lines to secure full marks, and if you can cram a diagram underneath (or in HSC get a seperate booklet if need be) or in the margin, that's where i would put it

But you can right? They will look at the diagram if you put it near the response and give you marks for it if it relates to the question

If its absolutely neccessary, i suppose, but nowhere near as big as you're thinking. When i did them i crammed them within a small square of about 2x2cm for all supply and demand related graphs, if its a bit more detailed like the pigovian taxation graph then you might need it a bit bigger to show all the details. But still, if you draw a good graph but fail to explain it, and its relevance to the question, you wont get much more than 1 or 2/5
