Hey,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what are some indicators that you'd be looking for when it comes to determing whether an athlete is ready to return to competiton?

when an athlete returns to play the following should be considered:
>indicators of readiness to play
- pain - free in typical competitive activities
- moves with equal control/alignment on injured and non-injured side
- demonstrates appropriate skill level for competition with no evidence of favouring
- moves without restriction in the most demanding elements of the sport
- normal skill levels have returned
- participates in fulkl training
- coach is happy with form
- athlete is physchologically ready to return.

and then taken straight from the syllabus:
-monitoring progress (pre- test an pro-test)
-taping
-specific warm up procedures
-progressive involvement

i hope i helped u out a lil...take it easy! :)

Just do your best.. If everything fails just write a plan at the beggining of what your response is to look like. That will gain you quite a few marks if you do that.
