For these d/ps:
outline the steps in the industrial production of sodium hydroxide from sodium chloride solution and describe the reaction in terms of net ionic and full formulae equations
identify data, plan and perform a first-hand investigation to identify the products of the electrolysis of sodium chloride
analyse information from secondary sources to predict and explain the different products of the electrolysis of aqueous and molten sodium chloride
How much detail do you have to go into? I know why the products are formed, all I have in my notes are the equations and some basic notes cos the rest seems to be ok to remember..

Well I rang the advice line today, the guy said since the d/p only talks about environmental and technical difficulties I should focus on that, and that I only need to know the basics of the actual cell.

Ohh screw it i'll do it all... I'll remember the Conq Chem info on it
