Hey i was just re-editing my belonging essay and i relies that my syntehsis doesn't have any techniques, should i add it in this is basically my structure
Intro
Thesis
Core text 1
Related Text 1
Synthesis (Core text 1 + Related Text 1)
Conlcusion

As you can see through my basic strcutre, i put alot of technques within the core text and related but none in the sunthesis should i put some in their just to emphasis a pparticular techinque??? Don't no what do you thikn?

Hmm, I can only ever see that kind of structure working if you're working with about 4 texts in the one essay, with the 'synthesis' paragraph functioning as a kind of link between them. In that case, your structure would be fine.

However, if that's your actual structure (for the whole essay), then it's an absolute mess. You should be integrating your argument with examples and how they contribute to your view of belonging throughout. You should be drawing commonalities from both texts - not just shoving them into one paragraph/subsection of your essay in a sort of report-like discussion.

I hope you're aware that you need TWO related texts...
