Hi everyone,
We're three third year Engineering (Civil/Aeronautical) & Commerce (Finance) students at the University of Sydney. We're starting some HSC Mathematics (2U) tutoring classes at Strathfield for commencing Year 12 students.
Each of us have maintained distinction averages throughout our degree, as well as all receiving Band 6s in HSC 2unit and 3unit. We feel like an intimate class environment will allow for a learning atmosphere where three of us can all contribute our extensive knowledge and experiences, as well as keeping the learning on a personal level.
At this stage we are looking at two, two hour classes a week based on early demand, for $35/class, with a maximum of 12 students per class. The classes will be run at St Anne's Primary School South Strathfield, likely with a Sunday afternoon class and a weekday class.
Each of us have experienced being both the tutor and the student, and know that each student is different in their requirements and needs, something that this personal classroom setting will allow for, supplementing the knowledge learnt at school.
