How do I integrate 2^(log x)?
the textbook gave a little hint: "e^(log x) = x, so what is 2^log x?"
the hint didn't really help me. :uhoh:

please help. thanks in advance.

Note that: eln 2 = 2

I am going to assume "log x" refers to the natural log, ln x.

2ln x = eln 2.ln x = (eln x)ln 2 = xln 2

You should now be able to integrate this form.
