Integrate:

(3x+2) / (x^2 + x + 1) dx

I don't understand Terry Lee's method when he gets this in the first line:

How did he get 3/2 and 1/2 in front of the integrals?

Because he split up the original integral into two parts. If you simply expand and simplify them, you'll return to the original integral.

Essentially, he split (3x+2) into (3/2)(2x + 1) + (1/2)
