Hello
I just want to ask you guys if you can help me solving a few volume questions. If a problem gives you only an equation an equation ie: y=(x^2-2)^2 and nothing else and did not give x- values for the curve to lie between ie: x=1 and x =4 (on x-axis Q). How do I solve the questions like that. Please explain?

They have to somehow give a bound, otherwise how would we know how far to go?

But usually something like that would assume the area bounded by the curve and the X intercept(s).
