What I mean is... do you consider your internet friends different from your "real life" friends?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I don't. Just like with my every day, "real-life" friends, I have friends that are closer and ones that are more "acquaintances". But the good friends I made online are in the same league as the ones I made in person... Some I'm even closer to than the real-life ones. <o></o>

don't consider them your friend/s until you meet them in real life! i view them as people to talk to on the net! thats all!

Internet friends are too easy.

net friends can have imporntant places in ones life.
i just call them my randoms, cos most of them are. even after ive met them they still tend to be called randoms tho...
i have a question tho, wat about friends you havent seen in years and years that you only talk to on the net are they still friends by some people definitions
people can change alot

well i have a friend who i havent seen properly aside from the odd 30sec convo at parties for about 4 years, and we still talk online and i consider her a real friend. but that would be because i knew her in the flesh for ages before this so there is a real life friendship as the basis of the online one.
"Friends" who i havent actually met before are a completely different matter; without meeting them and speaking face to face it's hard to have a proper friendship because there's a pretty important bit missing from the relationship. i do consider my online buddies friends but not in the same sense as my real life friends.

Of course internet friendships r different.

U can tell them things but u don't wont 2 tell them 2 much.

It just feels differnt bcoz u may have neva met them.

U just don't know wheter they r crazed psychos, or sumthin similar.

i tend to tell net friends more than my other friends..

(thats because even if they aren't trustworthy, they have no one to talk behind your back to. )
