Yeah, well, I reckon this might be a good idea, just to see how many people don't respond.

Well, I've just started Year 12, I'm 16, I like rock climbing/bouldering, I play soccer, Drama is the best subject...

Ummm, I'm in cadets at school, and have been for the past 5 years or so...

Anything else you wanna know?

Hmm pretty low Ive only been in 2.5yrs, and since the promos were moved to Point Cook (were actually a Vic SQN, long story) our squadron (about 100) have gotten low number of spots.

From what I've heard, RCUs (Regional Cadet Units - Out of school cadets) are a lot more serious than SBUs (School Based Units - In school cadets). I know for a fact that at our school, the majority of NCOs are very laid back about it, and don't take much seriously, since cadets is during school time. But RCUs are out of school time, and in the person's free time, so they have to really want to be there.

Yeah, I'm a WO2, if you can work out the equivalent to the Air Force.

WO2=CFSGT, well the RCU in my city (well its actually in Vic, across in Wodonga) isnt very serious, to give an idea they let some of the cadets do a range shoot without any weapons safety courses (which Im doing later next month.)

Grrr, no fair, I have to do 4 days of weapon handling courses then we get a WTTS shoot at Kapooka then a live fire next year.

Its not bad most people dont get to fire till they are on CUO/WOFF course.
