so we all know that you take music from your ipod and put it on another computer under the limitations of the apple software, but i have been hearing rumours that there are hacks that allow you to remove the limitation?
does anyone have any idea about this?

There was a few weeks ago, but it was only for linux and I think apple fixed it.

Those are pretty tame hacks.
People have installed linux on ipods, put 300gb hdds in them, wired four ipod shuffles together, turned the Itrip into a pirate radio transmitter, etc etc.

One of my bro's friends got some virus on his ipod, whenever he plugged it into a computer the computer crashed.

I wasn't aware that there are 2 inch 300gb hdd on the market....

Google a program called iPod Agent, it does what you're asking for.
