These have identical cutoffs but diff course codes, so am i wasting a pref in putting both these in separately

for example at unsw commerce/arts and commerce are the same course - when you enrol u indicate if you wanted to combine with arts or not

They are different because they have different course codes. Therefore you are not wasting a preference by applying for both.

They aren't the same - a screen won't pop up asking whether you want to add BBus or not so you should put the one you want most first.
