Is hyper Threading and Duel core processors kinda the same idea, except that hyperthreading just divides a single CPU inside and makes it perform as two, while duel core processors use two processors that divide tasks betweek them?

am i right or anyone want to add anything??

no, your not right.

hyperthreading involves the more efficient use of a single CPU by aranging threads so that they can be performed pseudo simutaneously.

dual core can acctually run 2 threads at one time.

hyper threading will only give a performance boost of 10% at most and sometimes a loss in performance.

while dual core can give performance boosts up to 50% or more compared to similar single core CPU.
