For someone thats sort of good at maths
Can you clarify what do you mean by you are 'sort of good at maths' ? For example, give us a general idea how you were performing in maths in year 9 and 10? As long as you put the effort in to understand the concepts, do a lot of questions and ask questions on what you don't understand, you can maximise your potential, and hence, your mark in General Maths:)

20/60 in yearly (yr 10)
School rank if possible?

Also year 10 ranks are too volatile to go by. I was ranked bottom half in year 10 and jumped up a lot in year 11.

Do you find mathematical concepts hard? I think if you want to achieve an 80, it's going to require a lot of practice and stuff, but it's definitely possible for anyone, if you put your mind to it.

Do you really mean scaled mark, or do you mean aligned mark?

An aligned mark of 80 in General is achieved by about the top 25% of the state.
80 is equivalent to an ATAR of about 75. What are you aiming for ATAR-wise?

If you really mean 'scaled', then that is achieved by about the top 7% of the state.
This would correspond with an ATAR of about 94.
