Hi all, just bombed my first Ext1 test that has a weighting of 20% and I am around 40-45th/88 in terms of rank. I would like to jump to around 30th, is this somewhat possible with a super high score in the next test that weighs around 30%? I have a really competitive cohort as well so I'm beyond stressed if studying is even going to change my rank at all unless someone messes up which isn't really happening 😭😭

It is entirely possible, and even if you don't get quite there after the next assessment, you still have 50% of weighting to work with.

I was able to jump from rank 30+ to rank 20/74 in a very competitive bio cohort after trials, which were weighed 30%, by achieving the highest mark. We're talking 30% against 70% already decided, so since this is 30% against 20%, I'm sure you can do it.
