is it too late for bridgin courses? (1 Viewer)

Hi

is it too late to apply for a ext 1 briding course for UNSW? I thought it wasn't untill mid february.

If it's not too late, do i just fill the form in and send it and do i have to wait for some sort of reply?

What happens if i dont make it? I did 2u maths. What will happen @ UNI? Will they let me do maths course? Im doing engineering btw.

I'm thinking of actually learning Ext1 maths during february instead of going to bridging program (going overseas for a while). What do you guys think?

You can learn Ext1 by yourself, but you might encounter some difficulties.
I'm in your position, I have to learn the basics of chem.
I plan to just borrow books off friends and go from there.
Should be alright.
You could do the same with Ext1.
Get someone to help you if you can as well.
If you can manage that, I don't think you need to spend the money on the bridging course.

If you cant' get in, and need to learn by yourself, there's always the maths extension 2 forum of boredofstudies . (ext 1 forum is nothing compared to ext2)

There should a few places left, but there are most likely people trying to enrol in to the bridging course on the day it starts.

i heard its about 500 bucks it to do bridging course, i think its a bit too much i better study on my own

What do they mean by "First lecture"? ie MY first lecture (maths) or the very first lecture (Chemistry)?
