Ahem, I think you mean G3, not P3. To whether its worth it or not depends on what you want to use it for.

where abouts are you located. i can build you a decent computer with a Benq !7" LCD for $1100. parts are legit and come with warranty and reciept..

I also agree with the No. Not a great system, and largely overpriced. A 17" G4 Powerbook would be nicer if you have the money. Otherwise find a better deal =)

Thats a good price for a used iBook but then you have to be weary of the dreaded logic board problems which are present in that series of iBooks... Then again $600 is good if your just gonna use it for word processing, web/email you just need more RAM but 192 should suffice
