i still have no idea how to change icon text colour on the desktop (Windows XP)

i do know that white background with white icon text looks crap :confused:



i remember with Windows ME there was freewere program that would not only manage wallpaper but would also choose the best colour for the text...

any ideas on how to easily chage icon text colour???

I hate desktops like that with so many icons. I only have 2 things on my desktop and one is only there because I created it yesterday. I have 21 things on my quick launch.

This is what it should look like...

yeah i know what you mean.

i usually clear most of my desktop once a week
