Hey, i just realised that final fantasy XI is actually out now...i didn't realise until i walked into eb this arfo and there is was ^^ lucky i had cash on me...

Now i've just gotta find the 7.5 GB required for the installation for my comp....goodbye so many movie files!!

what's the system requirements?

Minimum requires for a P3 800Mhz.... 128 RAM, HARD drive of 7.5 GB....and video card with 32MB....


recommended is P4 systems with 256 RAM and video card with 64MB....

It is quite a bit isn't it....

once you've installed it, you don't need to use any of the 7 CDs anymore.. every map and NPC are loaded on...

But i'm returning it...it's shit...lags even with cable...and it charges you by the month...
took like 5hrs to install everything and took another hr to delete....

If you want something along the lines, get ragnarok online...it's free and it's way better...hate FFXI....

its quite new (the Australian server)
they were giving out free installation cds at UNSW the other day...
its in beta trial atm i think, but after that u have to pay... i think it costs approximately the same as Ultima Online which was around $10/month

for international ragnarok, it lasts for a year or so

been playing rag for the last week non-stop lol. feel addicted
