itunes not recognising ipod? (1 Viewer)

i plug in my ipod via the usb cable provided but my itunes doesnt recognise it anymore? I can't click on 'sync ipod' to update songs...

When you press Ctrl+Shift+Esc can you see "iPodService.exe" and "iTunesHelper.exe" on the list? They should be there.

solved by resetting the ipod

On some set-ups, Ctrl+Alt+Del does not go stright to the task manager. Where as, Ctrl+Shift+Esc does. Actually now that I think about it it defaults to teh 1st tab, and i was talking about the second tab.

i have been having the same prob with my ipod... i have the 80gb classic 5th generation... i have heard tht its a factory fault(i hope its not ture) the prob is tht i got my first ipod changed cause it had the same prob + the headphones were recked. my second ipod still doesnt recognise sometimes. i have the latest software on the ipod and i also have the latest itunes
