me scared and freaked out....... i have my trials speaking tomorrow too.....>__< arghhh

u do 3u? how cool....i wish i did it....but my skool is so shit...they dont offer it so u have to do it by correspondence which i dont want........

Umm... You don't want to to. I originally thought it would be good - But it just seems to amount to English Advanced/3-Unit (as far as I can tell).

The only different thing is that we have a 'monologue': 10 mins (total) to prepare two speeches on (previously) unseen topics.

Terrible. I was shaking all during my trial - I couldn't come out with anything coherent... #8-(

yeh i heard abt that and it freaked me out..its like..i cant even do a english speech in 10 mins....how can i do it in jap??

I've seen that kind of stuff before, but never as an exam. only in competitions and stuff...man, this test sounds scary

As far as I can tell, the only way to study for it is to memorise a whole stack of 'pre-done' speeches, and then modify them on the fly when you get in there... #8'(
