Hi Guys

I know medicine itself is a very competitive course but I was wondering if JCU James Cook University is as competive as UNSW / Monash Medicine?

I've heard that it's less competitive since it's in a more "rural" area

Thanks! :)

Definitely less competitive in terms of ATAR. They also don't require UMAT so many people who didn't do well in UMAT go there.

It's might be more competitive in terms of extracurricular activities.
