Job or holiday? (1 Viewer)

I've haven't worked for almost 12 months, so I could concentrate on studying. So, for the past few months, I've been looking for work, just something part time in retail. Now, I've found two jobs to apply for, but the thing is, I'm going away for 9 days in two weeks, and I don't think I'd look to good asking for the time off when I'd only just been employed. What should I do? Is it worth applying, or should I just wait til I get back and wait until something else comes up?

get a job after you get back, or better yet, just enjoy the holidays. get a job later..
