How are the job propsects after completing a medical science degree??
I looked thourgh a job guide that I have, and it stated that it offers a "reasonably stable career oppournutnies"

How valid is this information?? Anuone please?

my cousin just finished and she said there are no jobs........oh well.........i dont give a shit...........im still going to do it

lolz so true...don't make the same mistake those people did...Med-sci DOES NOT give an advantage to potential med-entrants. Do it if you're set on medical research as a back-up career.

of course like any science degree, you need to have good results, and an impressive CV to get you a job at labs and hospitals. But to increase employability, do a Master or a PhD degree of course :D
after all, a bachelor degree is just a bachelor degree. Science is different from Commerce, it is an ever-expanding industry with new discoveries and technologies. A bachelor degree gives you the basics only. If you get what I mean..

What kind of experience do I need that would be advantageous for me in being employable other than gaining prolific uni degrees? Also what are teh chances of getting into graduate medicine by gaining a Bachelor's degree in Med sci at unsw??

uhh i dunno.......i dont really ask coz i wouldnt understand the whole system anyway......but i know she was doing really well........maybe she just hasnt found a job she likes......some ppl r picky but as for work.....if u specialise in a certain field ur bound to get a job right??

yeah. like become a medical receptionist or typist are also an option, you don't have to always work in a lab.
