Maccas ...
ne1 else work here?
and not satisfied? ...
whether i quit or not i don't know
feel like its gonna get in my way of study
i only work on weekends
but most people dere are err ......... yeh
lets see
how much was i gettin paid
6.13/hr
lets see how much now
7.67/hr
omg!! what a raise. lol
dis is depressing
i wanna get another job
but where? and which one is good?
is it really wise
for someone that is doing the hsc to do work at the same time?
although majority of people are able to balance the two
would it be better off just to study study study and just hope 4 the best afta the hsc?
working until maccas is closed is awful too. lol
cleaning
cleaning
cleaning
damn customers
they neva stop coming ..
y did maccas eva come into this world ..
i don't mind some of the stuff
but overall, blah! =(

maccas is underpaying u. i heard they paid casuals at a part-time rate, it's much cheaper.
if u don't like it, u should leave. there's no point hanging on if ur not happy... but if u want money, then look for something that ur more interested in. and also look at the other benefits of working there.
u should be abel to decide whether or not to work during the HSC cuz ur the only one who knows urself best. so only u'll know if u can juggle the two.

try applying for a coffee/cafe store, retail clothes, cinemas, juice bars, music stores, etc. computer/electrical maybe?

maccas casual rates are higher than permanent rates (they add on casual loading)...althou u dont have that job security and all that....BUT if u have the same shift for more than 3 months u are entitled to apply for a permanent part time position.. if ur 17 or over thou, i dont think ur getting paid the right amount, in ur crew room they should have a folder containing all ur work entitlements (breaks, OHS etc) which should contain how much money u should be getting, so hav a look at that...

i would say dont quit until u have another job..and just suck up to the managers...if they know ur a good worker, they're less likely to make u clean the fry station or mop the dining room floors

if u havent noticed i am a survivor of the maccas corporation..i quit a few months ago...even a promotion and pay rise wasnt enough to keep me there...i am now just "studying" for the HSC, mainly by sleeping in (i used to get opens every saturday :()

yeah close is pretty foul...i worked at st ives maccas, it was pretty much okay most of the time, like there were nice people and all, but i just got sick of cleaning shit all the time!

To prevent me from wanting to quit every five minutes, i just thought how much money i would earn...which wasnt much..but it kept me going...especially if i was working on a sunday...so when i left they gave me an awesome reference, so that should be good for getting other jobs now..well i hope :p

lol
not like i'm gonna become some celebrity
workign at mcdonalds
its all fine and everything
just that
pay should be alot higher
when u think about the amount of work we have to do
we're constantly on the run
either serving or cooking
and we're gettin paid minimum wage
its almost like working at a sweat shop
just that maccas is disguisingly clever

i think there was a time
where people did make a complaint about the pay of maccas
which is y
it has increased abit
ABIT
lol

but damn
i feel sorry for ur friend who workings at darling harbour ...
must be pretty hectic 24/7
