well this thing is still on my heard, my english teacher was nice enuff to give every1 a term to decide whether they want to move up to advance, vice versa, since both are studying the same text so no losts there.
So right now im considering moving up to advance, bak in the prelims, i did eng adv, and ext 1.
the recommend past rate for eng adv was 70 - 75%.
Paper 1 16.5 out of sumthing?
and paper 2 (transformation txt) 43.5/60 which is 72.5% which all added together to get me a 60%
(guess it was my fault for not studying :D, since i got the dates of the papers the other way around).

i need to opinions of those hu been through a similar case or so.
btw is it better to be sumwhere near top in standard or like sumwhere in the middle and below for advance?

My teacher, from advanced and extension, that you need to be consistently achieving above 80% or at LEAST 75% in all of the assessments. I haven't moved from either, but I do know that Advanced is much harder as it's more about why than how. Some of my friends have moved to standard, they say it's a lot easier...
