Just lost Firefox Bookmarks ... (1 Viewer)

For some reason, my Firefox bookmakrs have disappeared. I have checked the folder that it was in (Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\x5sdp62m.default) - the file is the same size that is was at before but now when I load it none of the bookmarks display.

Can someone recommend a solution/program so I can at least access an earlier version of the file? Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, it just seems to happen that once every 10 days or so I would lose them for no apparent reason.

could it be because you're running firefox under a new profile?
if so, you may be able to access your old profile by doing this:

1. Close Firefox completely (select File > Exit from the main menu of Firefox).
2. Select Start > Run... from the Windows Start menu.
3. Enter firefox.exe -profilemanager
4. Select your old profile if you can see it
