Just need some pointers

Hi, I know this sounds stupid to ask but could someone tell me what a precis map is, is it one where only one feature is drawn (i.e landuse)?? And also, when giving coordinates, latitude comes before longitude right?

thanks

Yes, latitude before longitude.

A precis map is a the simplication of another map or satellite, and often shows just one major land feature etc.
