I know this is an industrial chem q but it has to do with le chateliers

temp is the only factor that affects K (heat increases its value) but if you have an endothermic/exo thermic what happens?
like for an exo it would be A + B <==> C + D + heat
so if you add heat the backward reaction will be favoured but seems contradictory to def given for K...
help

no, if u add heat to an exothermic reaction, K will be smaller, because its products over reactants, and by adding heat, the reaction goes backwards.

Imo its stupid for books to say "K is increased by temp" cos logically its only increased if the reaction is endothermic....

Unless im completely lost.

no no I got it wrong the syllabus says identify that temp is the only infleunce on K...but does not specify...
