hey guys i need an example of one kidney malfunction that dialysis corrects.. i cant find it anywhere on the net. i can only find what the malfunction causes.
thnks
You basically answered your own question I guess. A kidney 'malfunction' that dialysis would correct is 'renal failure'. Dialysis (albeit crudely) performs some of the functions that the kidney would do ordinarily, such as waste removal and excess fluid removal. The dialysis has a permeable membrane (which you would have done in prelim) and blood is pumped through the machine.
