Can anybody please help ME...................
I have to do an assignement on King Lear and i have to include how i interpret the play. I'm seeing the play as a POST-MODERNIST READING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME IN THIS?
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT A POST-MODERNIST READING IS??????????????
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. Then replace Romeo and Juliet with King Lear and you have yourself a post-modernist reading of King Lear.

Post mordenism... where everything is a textual construct..
where the interpretation depends on the reader/viewer's time, place, and social standing.

why are u doing post mod if you ain't sure what it is????

you can do a post-mordenist READing of the play if thats what you mean..
