2001, 2002, 2003 HSC Question simply asked for different interpretations and production of King Lear, while 2004 HSC Question asked for extracts as well! Do we have to memmories large sections of the play? God. I Hope not.

it is generally a good idea to know about two scenes fairly well, so you can discuss them in your response. don't need to know them really well, just the general gist and know the important quotes.

Yep definitely, just get the general gist of the opening scenes and the final scenes. Hence partly the reason why you shouldn't exactly remember word for word essay memorisation for this module.

Me too. i have been focusing on King Lear when studying for this exam as i feel it is my weakest but i just dont feel like im getting anywhere....i dont know what to study so i study most of it but then i forget all the little things.... ahhh i really dont like this module!! :(
