ok i have my trial for modules on monday, i just need help on what i should be studying
i've been studying the brooks production, russian production, the one at the bondi pavillion (what is that actually called?)
basically i've been studying the values in each - with quotes/examples... but king lear just stresses me out... any help would be much appreciated!

yeh i was told to study two to three productions and also two to three interpretations

i just realised they can also ask you about language and this will help show values so maybe have a look at the imagery and that

sorry probably didnt help much

but u can tie in interpretations with your productions right? as in the brooks one is "arestotelian tradgedy" (however u spell it) and the russian one is a communist interpretation...

some questions will ask you "..in a production you have seen or imagined". so yes, that would include your own interpretation. but most people opt to write about real productions

i'm a little worried because we have our trial tomorrow and my english teacher told us we only needed to know one production... just doesn't seem right

Also, (and this is probably a little late :p) they could ask you how you would play a certain character; how you project your voice, how you stand, your tone of voice, etc.
Learn dramatic techniques as well as the different readings and interpretations, you never know what they will ask.

yeah some of the whoppers I have been reading lately I would have no idea how to answer!! Ive only studied interpretations and productions (and not all of them, Ive only focussed on a few!)

What I didn't realise is that they could ask you about a specific one so Ive realised that I need to go back and study them all!!
