I got an assessment task at school, which is that i am the director for a new production of 'King Lear', in which i would have to choose one character & describe how they would be portrayed in reference to the context and setting.
So i was thinking of switching all the characters to their opposite gender (e.g King Lear => Queen Lear) , since back in Shakespearean times men were powerful, in contrast to today's modern society where feminism has taken over. What do you guy's think?
