Seriously, have you heard of kolourpaint? It is the defacto KDE paint app.

nope, i seriously haven't heard of it...

I don't think they install it on the uni linux computers.

i don't think they will install it, we still use mozilla 1.0, lol

while the PC's and Mac's have been regularly updated....

Linux does support SATA in the latest kernel version 2.6.x

when i'm installing it how do i setup dual boot with windows though? cause when i'm installing the installer wont detect my windows hard drive.

the only place i will be able to get linux is from here, ftp://ftp.uow.edu.au/pub/linux

since i'm on 56k internet

to setup windows and linux to dual boot you have to use LILO (LInux LOader), when you have got Linux up and running

you could also use grub to dual boot too

You could just use Knoppix and boot from the CD ^_____________^.


...thats what I do when i need a Linux Fix.
